Claim Contradicted Motive
Early manhunt story, citing an unverified ATF bulletin, said casings were engraved with transgender and antifascist ideology. Actual inscriptions are memes. WSJ amended. White House later still used trans-ideological framing.
The metal does not say trans. “Notices Buldge OWO” is furry copypasta. “Bella ciao” is an anti-fascist song that also lives in video games and TV. A roommate in transition is a biographical fact, not a casing inscription. Keep those layers apart.
